It's no wonder that this was the first beach we visited on Hvar in 2009, and we still remember it fondly. Additionally, the absence of crowds means that you can enjoy the stunning scenery without any distractions. The highlight of this beach is the delicious lobster that is served here, which is sure to tantalize your taste buds.

This beach is absolutely fantastic for swimming, and it's located just a short 20-minute walk from Hvar's center along the lungomare promenade. Don't be fooled by Google Maps directing you to climb up a steep hill and down a gravel path - the seaside road is completely flat all the way. Plus, the beach has beautiful white pebbles that add to its charm.

This beach is just fabulous! The water is so pristine, but be warned, there are some pesky rocks lurking around, so don't forget to bring your trusty water shoes or sandals. And if you're feeling lazy, you can always rent a lounger and an umbrella from the beach club. But let me tell you, this place is a hot spot! It's practically in the heart of the city, so expect a crowd. I mean, I took a cab and it only took me 10 minutes from the bus station, but next time I'll be brave enough to tackle the ups and downs on foot or even take a water taxi. All in all, I'd say this is a pretty swell place to hang out for the day!
