Melia Buenavista beach

We had a fantastic time at Meliá Buenavista. Everything was flawless - the room, the views, the personalized service, and the food. Being an adult-only hotel, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Despite that, there was a fantastic animation team offering bachata and salsa classes, beach yoga, live music, and more. A big thank you to Andrexon from the animation team for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning!

We spent 8 nights at the beach. The beaches are absolutely stunning and the location is like a dream. However, the hotel itself is in desperate need of renovation. The whole place is very old, including the rooms which are just okay. The towels, bed sheets, and other linens often have stains and appear dirty. The service quality is decent, with the beach staff being very kind and drinks served every 30 minutes. However, the service at the restaurants is lacking, with some waiters being friendly and attentive while others seem unmotivated. The biggest issue, and the reason for my 2/5 star rating, is the food. It is simply bad and at times we were disgusted by it. It's hard to understand how a hotel can serve such poor quality food. Those who claim the food is delicious in their reviews must either be bribed or have no taste buds.

We had a fantastic time at Melia Buenavista! The beaches here are absolutely stunning! It's amazing that there are three different beaches— my favorite was the one for watching sunsets, especially with the sunset ritual music performed by Marcos! The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, always greeting us with a warm smile. And the Entertainment Team really stands out! Marcos, Navy, and Andrenxon Coll are all fantastic! Whether it's dance classes, yoga sessions on the sea platform, or fun aqua gym sessions, there's never a dull moment! Marcos is especially great with his salsa classes and his genuine kindness, always making us feel welcome and spreading his infectious happiness. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!

The animation team, consisting of Anderson, Marcos, and Navi, was fantastic. They made all our activities, such as salsa lessons and aqua gym at the pool, very enjoyable. The resort and views were stunning, especially our room with a breathtaking ocean view. The food at the snack bar was delicious, with pizza, hamburgers, and hotdogs available every day. The homemade pizza dough was a nice touch. There were three private beaches with great views, and plenty of washed up coral and shells to explore for beachcombers.

We spent 10 days at this resort last year and are eager to go back. We suggested it to our friends and they enjoyed it just as much as we did. The staff, especially the "animation team," put in a lot of effort. Andrenxon, in particular, went above and beyond to teach us about marine life, make us laugh, and bond over our shared interest in languages. I even learned some new Spanish words and dance moves!
