The beach has powdery sand and you can snorkel right from the shore. There is a nice spot in front of the boat house. The pool areas offer options for both a busy or quiet atmosphere, and the staff is friendly. The rooms are a good size, but some only have a deep tub with a hand-held sprayer, no shower. The buffet is a better choice for food, as the restaurant wasn't worth the late sittings. Snack bars are also a good option. Overall, the resort is clean and well-maintained. We traveled with 2 adults and 3 kids, and everyone had a great time. We didn't use the kids club, but we did enjoy the nightly "mini-disco". While we won't be returning, we felt that the price we paid was worth it.

I really enjoyed my time at this beach! The food was decent and better than most places in Cuba. The buffet was okay, but the restaurants were really unique and delicious. The beach was absolutely stunning and clean, and the pool was also quite nice. The staff were friendly and attentive, and everything was well-maintained. Surprisingly, the coffee at Mike's was really good! I would recommend this place for families (lots of activities for kids) or couples (plenty of options for couples too). However, if you have difficulty walking, this large resort may not be suitable for you. The only downside was that our towels were taken in the middle of the night and never returned. Other than that, I loved everything about my experience there!

The ocean and water activities were fantastic. The room service was excellent. The panoramic bus was convenient for getting to the shopping plazas, and the classic taxis were a fun way to get around. Unfortunately, they were out of clean beach towels for 2 days. When we tried to get some from the truck, we were told they were only for the rooms of new guests. The food and alcohol were terrible, and the service was lacking. We had to wait over an hour at the snack bar for a simple sandwich because the buffet was closed multiple times. No one seemed to have answers to our questions, and there were a lot of locals at the resort who were not very considerate. We won't be coming back.

The resort is beautiful, clean, and modern. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they appreciated when we tried speaking Spanish. The food is good. Despite hearing negative things about Cuba, my experience was better than expected. After a few days, you might want to switch things up and try the restaurants instead of the buffet.
