Nestled beneath the majestic castle lies a charming little beach that exudes tranquility and serenity. During the winter months, this hidden gem is a peaceful haven with only a handful of visitors, allowing you to bask in the natural beauty of the surroundings undisturbed. The gentle lapping of the waves against the shore and the soft rustling of the leaves in the nearby trees create a soothing melody that will transport you to a state of pure relaxation. If you're looking for a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this beach is the perfect destination.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beach. The waves were present, but the experience was worth it. We took turns swimming to ensure we didn't miss out on anything. We are grateful to the kind gentleman who gave us a lift on his motorcycle from Santiago.

5 Tolerable

This beach is just another mediocre spot to waste your time at after touring the castle. Don't expect anything extraordinary here, but at least you can flop down on the sand and catch your breath after a few grueling hours of sightseeing. Just be aware that the sun disappears behind the hill at 4:30pm, so don't plan on any late afternoon tanning sessions.

Nestled near El Morro Castle, this small stretch of sandy beach offers a unique charm accessible by a narrow, winding trail. While the water may be slightly murky due to the occasional presence of algae, it is delightfully warm and inviting. A popular spot among locals, this beach is a summer hotspot due to its close proximity to the city and easy accessibility via public transportation. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience this hidden gem for yourself.
