Playa Río Caña is a small beach located about 5 km from Trinidad. It is not very well known and therefore not as crowded as other beaches in the area. The beach is clean and has fine sand. The water is clear and calm. There is a river that flows into the sea and offers beautiful scenery. The disadvantage is that there is no infrastructure on the beach, such as toilets, showers or restaurants. You have to bring everything yourself or eat in one of the few accommodations nearby. In addition, the beach is difficult to reach as there is no public transport and you have to take a taxi or a bike.
