This beach is truly a sight to behold, with its stunning beauty that will leave you in awe. We opted to take a leisurely walk to get there, which made the experience even more enjoyable than taking a boat. The waters are perfect for snorkeling, and you'll be able to witness an array of marine life up close. However, we did notice some areas that were littered with garbage, which was a bit of a downside. Additionally, we caution against buying any food or drink from the vendors, as they tend to overcharge tourists, like the 200 pesos for a simple coconut water.

It's a mystery to me why so many people claim that the only way to reach this beach is by boat. There's actually a land route that can be taken in a variety of ways. To make things easier, I suggest downloading the alltrials app, which has detailed descriptions of the different routes. It's important to wear comfortable shoes (no flip-flops, please!) as the road can be quite steep at times. On rainy days, I'd recommend avoiding the beach altogether as the descent can be treacherous. Once you arrive, there are plenty of things to do. You can take a boat to Las Galeras (although it can be a bit pricey at 2000-2500 for two people), or you can enjoy drinks and food at the beachside bar. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also head south to Boca del Dragón or Playa Madama. Don't forget to bring your snorkeling gear! The underwater world here is

This beach is truly amazing and is mostly accessible by boat. Although it is possible to hike there, it takes approximately an hour and a half. During certain seasons, many of the beaches in Samaná become filled with seaweed, but even then, there are still some cool spots to swim in. For the more adventurous types, I noticed that some people had left ropes on the rocks, indicating that they had scaled them. However, it is important to note that the beach is rocky, with pieces of the cliffs scattered throughout. Only attempt to climb if you are experienced and know what you are doing. There is a massive barrier reef that breaks the waves, so if you bring your own boat, be extremely careful. The locals are incredibly skilled at navigating the rocks, which is truly impressive to witness. If you prefer to stay in shallow waters, it is best to choose another beach, as there are numerous sea urchins in the area. However, for those who

The beach is a sight to behold, but it's not worth the trek. You can either hike for hours or take a boat ride from La Playita, which is the less painful option. The boat ride is the highlight of the trip, but it's not worth the effort. We were lucky to have arrived at a time when the beach wasn't overrun by tourists. There are some secluded spots where you can have the beach to yourself, but don't expect any amenities. The only thing you'll find here are coconuts to hang from, so bring your own food and water. The beach is pleasant enough, but it's nothing to write home about. It's a good place to kick back and relax, but don't expect anything more than that.

This beach is undoubtedly one of the most enchanting places I have ever visited. Its pristine waters and soft sand make it an ideal spot to unwind and relax. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to bask in the sun and soak up the beauty of this breathtaking location. It's no wonder that this beach has become one of my all-time favorites.
