Saladilla beach is a wonderful spot for families to spend quality time together in a secluded setting. The beach is known for being quite isolated, which is why there are two soldiers stationed there. During weekday afternoons, you may spot people walking from the barahona boardwalk to exercise and enjoy the scenery.

This was my first visit to the beach and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was peaceful and the scenery was breathtaking. However, I did notice that the mayor's office could improve the cleanliness of the water by conducting algae cleaning operations more frequently. Despite this minor issue, I still highly recommend this beach as it is a great spot to relax and unwind.

Ah, the beach, where the sand is replaced with shards of glass and the ocean is a dumping ground for trash. The parking lot is a muddy mess, making you feel like you're competing in a Tough Mudder event just to get to the water's edge. And if you're lucky enough to make it to the beach, don't expect to stroll too far because a daily police presence reminds you that assaults have become a regular occurrence. It's a shame that the locals have put so much effort into ruining what was once a beautiful beach.
