Coconut Beach

We didn't actually stay at this beach, we decided to drop by early one day to inquire about having dinner there. To our delight, the staff warmly welcomed us! The food was incredibly tasty and the staff members were genuinely kind. I strongly suggest paying a visit. And if you happen to stop by, make sure to spend some time sitting with the adorable cat in the lobby! She is absolutely charming and made our visit even more memorable.

It is important to note that if you plan on having dinner, it is necessary to make a reservation in advance. The staff at the beach were absolutely wonderful, just like everywhere else in Fiji. Esther kindly accommodated us at the last minute, and we are incredibly grateful for her assistance. The restaurant offers authentic Fijian cuisine prepared with a homemade touch.

My wife and I spent three nights at Coconut Grove for the first part of our honeymoon, and we cannot express how wonderful it was. The resort is small, well-maintained, and incredibly peaceful. For those, like us, who are new to Fiji, it can be overwhelming to decide which islands to explore. Luckily, Taveuni has a small airstrip just five minutes away from Coconut Grove, but don't worry, the noise won't be an issue. This place is perfect if you're seeking a vacation filled with hiking, fishing, diving, and relaxation in the evenings. The staff at Coconut Grove is truly exceptional. They are friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was tailored to our preferences. Here are some of the highlights: -The meals were absolutely incredible. Our favorite was the ika vakalolo, but every dish was fantastic. -Don't miss out on the oceanside massages. Time will fly by. -The banana bure provides a charming veranda right by the water, offering breathtaking views of the sunrise. Inside, you'll find everything you need in a clean and well-maintained setting. -Be sure to try snorkeling on the Rainbow Reef and taking the Lavena Coastal Walk. The staff can assist you in arranging these activities, and they are guaranteed to exceed your expectations.

The staff and location of the beach were fantastic. However, the accommodation was not up to par. We were given the tiniest bure, which felt very cramped. The owner, who is currently selling the property, did not handle customer service well when she arranged for a drone video without informing us. This caused a lot of disappointment among the residents. All she had to do was inform us and provide an alternative location while the filming took place. Instead, we were bothered for hours by a drone that invaded our privacy and disrupted our peaceful experience.

The beach is right nearby, and having our own private shore was unbeatable. The staff is incredibly nice, and I couldn't have asked for a better welcome. The food is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected from a resort. However, everything is really delicious, and the view from the dining deck is breathtaking. We would definitely return!
