Layet Beach

Nestled along the coastal road to St Tropez between Lavandou and Cavaliere lies a picturesque nude beach that is truly one of a kind. While it may not be the largest of beaches, it offers a unique opportunity to cozy up with your sand neighbors. The beach is flanked on both sides by rocky formations and a lush green belt of Mediterranean vegetation, creating a secluded and serene atmosphere. The sand and water are infused with mica mineral flakes, adding a touch of magic to an already enchanting setting. For those looking to indulge in delicious cuisine, the popular beach restaurant 'chez Jo' is a must-visit spot, although reservations are required and clothing is not optional. While there are plenty of self-parking spots along the coastal road, some may require a bit of walking to reach the beach. The various pathways leading to the beach require some stair climbing and navigating through difficult terrain, but the effort is well worth it. The water is refreshingly clean and clear, and the beach is protected from the wind, making it one of the most beautiful spots on the Mediterranean coast. In September, the crowd was a mix of mid-60s and younger folks, making it a must-do for any beach lover.

This naturist beach is absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly, with no one wearing any clothing that I could see. It's a great spot for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. I highly recommend taking a stroll or bike ride along the path to get here, as parking can be a bit of a hassle. It's definitely worth getting here early during peak season, as the beach can get quite crowded. The water and sand are both pristine and perfect for swimming or sunbathing. And if you're into snorkeling, there are some fantastic spots to explore around the point. Overall, this is a must-visit beach for anyone looking for a truly unique and enjoyable experience.

This beach is truly beautiful, however, it is important to avoid parking in the turning area. Unfortunately, there have been instances of theft where a thief has targeted non-French cars and smashed windows to steal valuable items. Although the police are aware of the situation, they have not taken any action to prevent it.

This is the loveliest beach we've come across along the coast. It's sheltered and free of seaweed, with beautiful clean sand and great swimming. There are rocks to lean on and it's comfortable for both nude and clothed beachgoers. We've been twice so far in January and there's a nature reserve headland with paths and tiny coves, which is rare since much of the coast is private.
