Paloma Beach

In my view, this bay on the Cote d'Azur is an absolute gem. The abundance of trees surrounding it provides ample shade, making it a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun without getting too hot. The water may be stony, but this only adds to its crystal-clear quality, making it an ideal place for a refreshing swim. The atmosphere here is incredibly peaceful and respectful, with everyone enjoying their own space without any disturbance. We felt completely at ease leaving our belongings on the beach and taking a dip in the sea. Our experience here was truly exceptional, and we didn't feel the same sense of tranquility in Cannes.

This beach is apparently worth checking out, but don't get your hopes up too high. Sure, you can take in some decent views of Èze and the northern coast, but it's not like you're going to be blown away or anything. If you do decide to go, you can hop on bus 15 from Nice, but don't expect to have the place to yourself. You'll want to get there early if you want to snag a decent spot. As for the water, it's nothing to write home about. It's not too deep near the shore, which is nice, but it's not like you're going to be doing any deep-sea diving. And if you get hungry, there are some bakeries and boulangeries along the way, so that's something, I guess.

Plage Paloma is an ideal spot for snorkeling enthusiasts. The beach is not sandy but instead, features rocks extending up to 10 meters into the water. The view of the beach from the hill is simply magnificent. However, I would not recommend it for a leisurely beach day. It may be worth a visit out of curiosity, but it is likely to disappoint those seeking a traditional beach experience.

This public beach boasts a stunning appearance that will leave you in awe. However, due to the restaurant occupying a significant portion of the space, the beach can get a bit crowded. Nonetheless, the water is a sight to behold with its exceptional warmth, clarity, and cleanliness. Despite its charm, there are other equally impressive beaches nearby that may offer more convenience.

The beach offers of inviting warm waters and gentle waves that will soothe your soul. The convenience of having access to clean bathroom facilities, close parking, and a spot for a quick rinse is a cherry on top. You won't find a better public beach in terms of amenities. Although on a busy Sunday, it took around 40 minutes to find a parking spot, the experience of being surrounded by nature's beauty was worth it.
