I have mixed feelings about this beach. It is absolutely stunning with a picturesque beach and pier. However, during the summer it gets incredibly crowded, and unfortunately, there are numerous cigarette butts, broken glass, and sharp seashells scattered in the sand. I even ended up cutting my feet on a piece of glass and a shell. Perhaps the lack of nearby trash bins contributes to the littering problem. On top of that, finding parking is extremely challenging, and the condition of the toilets is absolutely terrible.

The beach is quite impressive, with its pristine waters and the shade provided by rocks and trees. It offers ample opportunities for shell hunting, as well as shallow waters and minimal waves, making it an ideal spot for children. While the main beach tends to get crowded, the quieter sides are a better option. It is advisable to arrive early if you wish to park for free on the streets before the beach entrance, as finding a spot at the beach entrance itself is nearly impossible. Fortunately, there is a convenient free bus service that shuttles between the beach and Noirmoutier-en-l'Île every 15 minutes. All in all, this beach is definitely worth multiple visits.
