Voula beach

I had a great time at the beach, and it's affordable even for students. The beach is clean, although there is some debris in the water, but it clears up as you go deeper. They also have a lifeguard, which is reassuring. The bar serves food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and the snacks are delicious. The changing rooms and washrooms are clean, which is a huge relief. I highly recommend it!

The beach charges a fee of 8.50 for a full day, with sunbed rentals ranging from 30-40€. If you prefer to lay your towel down among others, that's an option too. Despite its reputation as a luxurious destination, the beach is actually quite ordinary. As for the public Voila beach, it's truly dreadful. I can't recommend either of them.

The beach is superbly clean and well-maintained, with a paid entrance and sunbeds available for rent. There are three restaurants and cafes on-site, and the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The staff are particularly friendly and accommodating, with a special shout-out to Toro and the three Vasilis. Overall, it's a relaxing and enjoyable place to spend a day by the sea.

Voula beach offers both a public, free section and a paid section with sunbeds. Let's focus on the paid section for now. The beach boasts a lovely expanse of sandy terrain, a rare sight in Greece where rocky beaches are more common. Sunbeds and parasols are available for your comfort. If you're feeling peckish or thirsty, the beach bar has you covered with food and drinks. For those who want to rinse off after a dip in the sea, showers are available. Toilets are also on site for your convenience. However, it's worth noting that the entrance fee is quite steep. Once you've paid the fee, you can choose from three slightly different sections of the beach, each belonging to a different bar. From there, you can purchase a sunbed at an additional cost. In general, the beach is pleasant and the staff is courteous, but there is an entrance fee. However, we were disappointed that due to Covid, we did not want to use the sunbeds and noticed that they were not being cleaned regularly. We decided to look for a table and chairs instead and ended up sitting in some uncomfortable black round chairs because there were no other options. We ordered refreshments totaling around ten euros, but were then informed by a young lady that the table we were using was not affiliated with the cafe and that we would have to pay an additional 10 euros to use it. We were frustrated to have paid for uncomfortable seating and found that there were only about ten tables at the cafe, which were always occupied. It is truly disappointing to see such poor management practices.
