It's truly unfortunate that the authorities have decided to remove the bar from the beach. The owner of the bar always made sure that the beach was well maintained, but now it seems like no one is taking responsibility for its upkeep. It would be wonderful if the bar could be reinstated. Despite this setback, the beach itself is absolutely stunning. However, it tends to get quite noisy and overcrowded on the weekends.

Porto Rafti boasts my most beloved beach, a stunning blend of sand and pebbles. While the majority of the beach is pebbled, there are areas with sand to sink your toes into. It's important to note that the water is not shallow, so take care when swimming. Weekends in July and August are particularly busy, so opt for a weekday visit if possible. The small cafe that used to be on the beach is no longer there, so make sure to bring your own refreshments. And of course, it goes without saying that we should all do our part to keep this beautiful beach clean by picking up after ourselves.

This beach is truly remarkable, with soft sand that stretches out to the middle and rocky areas perfect for diving at the edges. The lush bushes and trees provide ample shade, creating a serene atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation. While it can get a bit busy in August, the stunning green hues of the shore mixing with the deep blues of the sea make it well worth the trip. Swimming here is an absolute delight, as you can take in the stunning natural beauty that surrounds you.
