The beach is a great option for families during the weekdays, and for young adults during the weekends when it tends to be busier and noisier. It is fully equipped with showers, ample parking, and a variety of beach bars that offer music, a full menu, and reasonable prices. If you're lucky enough to catch a sunset, it's absolutely breathtaking. While the beach used to have issues with flooding, it has since been cleaned up. The water is quite shallow, making it a safe option for children, and the cleanliness is at a good level since it's in the Euboikos. However, when there's a strong wind, the water can become cloudy. If you venture away from the bars, you'll find some great secluded spots that are perfect for those looking for some peace and quiet, as well as some great diving spots. Overall, the beach has something for everyone and is a great escape from Athens, which is only an hour away by car and easy to get to.

This beach is popular among families and those who own vacation homes, drawing in both weekend visitors and permanent vacationers. Swimming is recommended from mid-May to mid-July, as August brings the meltemias. While not spotless, the beach is still considered moderately clean and provides amenities such as showers, cane umbrellas, and changing rooms. The trees on the beach are well-maintained by the residents, who occasionally hire a lifeguard.
