The beach is located in a beautiful area and has a long stretch of comfortable sand. It is a great place for families to visit. There is a cafe on the beach that provides free sunbeds and umbrellas. The cafe is situated in the best part of the beach, surrounded by tamarisk trees. If you want shade outside of the cafe, you will need to bring your own equipment. In some areas of the water, there are sharp stones, while in a few places there are slabs and sand where you can step. The deepest point of the water is sandy. The water quality has been deemed suitable by the relevant authorities. However, there are some drawbacks to the beach. It tends to be dirty, as the cafe does not adequately clean its designated area, resulting in plastic waste, cigarette butts, and other debris. Additionally, at the beginning of the beach, there are ongoing water supply works for Aegina, which are not very aesthetically pleasing.
