The beach is absolutely stunning and definitely worth a visit when you're on Poros Island. Don't miss the chance to grab a delicious cup of coffee at the cozy little coffee shop near the Life Giving Spring monastery, located uphill from the beach.

4 Frustrating

The beach was extremely crowded and lacked sufficient shade. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I had anticipated a peaceful beach, but it was nothing like that. I found myself seeking refuge in the shade, considering whether to hitchhike anywhere but there or wait for the boat to return me to town. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be during the off-season.

I visited the beach on a partly sunny and rainy afternoon in May. It wasn't too crowded, possibly because of the time of year, but it was a lovely and scenic beach. The sand was clean enough to comfortably lay down with a towel, and the sea was also very clear and clean. I would give it 4 stars, mainly because it lacks amenities like bars and umbrellas.

The beach is located a short distance from the city center, nestled beneath a lush monastery. The water is stunningly clear, just as one would anticipate on a Greek island. There is a fairly large beach resort where you can rent an umbrella and two sunbeds for 10€. I wouldn't suggest having lunch there as the options are limited and the prices are quite steep, but it's perfectly fine for grabbing a snack and a drink.

I visited a beautiful bay with tranquil waters early in the morning to witness the sunrise. Although I didn't go for a swim, I noticed the presence of sunbeds for those who wanted to relax by the beach. Additionally, there is a monastery located nearby, along with a coffee shop.
