During our tour of the beautiful Island of Rhodes, we were on our way to visit the ancient ruins of Kameros. As we passed Kristinia Castle, we found ourselves on a flat road that ran parallel to the sea. I have to say, it was an incredible experience! The sky was a vibrant blue and the sun was scorching hot. The sea had a stunning blue color and the strong winds created lovely waves. The road was completely clear, with no cars in sight, and it stretched out into the distance. On our left, we had the sea, and on our right, we were surrounded by the fantastic rugged mountains and flat plains of Rhodes. Since we had packed lunch with us, we decided to pull over and park in the middle of nowhere. It was truly amazing! We walked about 100 feet across the pebbles and found a spot at the edge of the rugged pebble beach to sit down. The winds were even stronger at the water's edge, and combined with the heat of the sun, it felt like being in a powerful industrial hairdryer! We enjoyed our packed lunch while sitting there, and it was wonderful to be the only ones along this vast, long beachfront. It truly was an amazing experience. We would have never discovered this without renting a car. It has made our entire holiday memorable to be able to have moments like this. I highly recommend getting a car and exploring, just like we did.

The beach has pebbles, the water is warm, and it's a great place to relax or spend the entire day. There is ample parking available, and it's a nice and peaceful spot. I highly recommend it.

The beach is quite wild and has a rocky terrain. Despite the surroundings, it manages to maintain a decent level of cleanliness. It offers a few trees, providing an opportunity to enjoy some shade. The atmosphere is very peaceful, and there is not much traffic on the nearby road.
