This picturesque beach is truly breathtaking. It's tucked away in a secluded cove within the mountains, making it feel like a hidden gem. To reach this oasis, we embarked on a 30-minute hike from the nearby village of Tsousoros, where we were greeted by stunning views of the landscape and playful goats along the way. The crystal-clear water was a bit chilly due to the mountain stream, but it was incredibly refreshing after our trek. The pebble beach is small and intimate, and we were the only tourists there, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. We were delighted to discover an abundance of little fish and can't wait to return with our snorkels and masks for a closer look.

4 Frustrating

Although the beach at Maridaki may not be awe-inspiring, the journey to get there from Tsoutsouros offers breathtaking vistas that are truly remarkable. It's worth noting that Maridaki beach may not be the ideal choice for families with young children due to the rocky terrain both on the shore and in the water. However, we were fortunate enough to return to Tsoutsouros via a delightful small boat ride that cost only 15 EUR for our entire family, making it a fun and memorable experience for the kids.

The beach boasts stunning natural scenery, with the added benefit of being relatively uncrowded. Despite the chilly November weather, it's still refreshing to take a dip in the ocean. The sea itself is also quite calm and inviting.

The beach is an absolutely stunning location, boasting some of the most breathtaking views in the area. The water is pristine and clear, and the backdrop of the majestic mountains only adds to the natural beauty of the surroundings. Additionally, the locals are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making for a truly hospitable experience. All in all, this is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to soak up some sun and enjoy the beauty of nature.
