This beach is located south of Heraklion and is considered one of the most stunning spots in the area. Access to the beach is only possible by boat, as attempting to climb down the mountains or cliffs is highly discouraged due to safety concerns.

Vala Beach, also known as the beach, can only be reached by boat or a two-hour hike from Treis Ekklesies. It is susceptible to all winds, particularly the northerlies that carry bothersome dust from the gorge. However, if you happen to visit on a clear day, it is a paradise. Unfortunately, there are no amenities available.
