The hike to this beach is quite pleasant. It's recommended to arrive at the monastery parking lot at least an hour before noon to explore the monastery, which costs €2.50 per person to enter. The hike can be challenging on the way back, so it's essential to wear appropriate footwear. However, the caves, monastery, and ruins along the way make the journey worthwhile. The beach is rocky, with limited space to relax.

The breathtaking cliff bay, located just an hour's hike from the monastery, is truly one of the most stunning destinations on the planet. While the trek may be tiring, the unparalleled beauty of this bay makes it well worth the effort. Admission is just 2.5€ per person, but be sure to wear sturdy shoes and exercise caution along the path after the ruins of the old St. John's monastery. Although swimming is technically prohibited, many visitors can't resist taking a dip in the crystal-clear waters. And let's face it: with the monastery miles away and no monks to be found, it's hard to believe that anyone could be offended by enjoying this natural wonder. If this place is a testament to God's handiwork, then surely it was meant to be savored and appreciated by all.

8 Very good

The location is not precisely a beach, but rather a section of the monastery grounds that requires a fee of 2.5€ per person to access via a hike. The descent took us an hour and the ascent was notably more challenging and also took an hour. Some parts of the trail are difficult, so it may not be ideal for young children. However, the view from the bottom was certainly worth the effort. Although swimming is not permitted, the scenery is still stunning.

The beach is open to the public and does not require any entrance fee. However, it is important to note that it is located on the grounds of a monastery and not privately owned.

The beach is a bit of a trek, taking around an hour to reach by foot. The descent is simple, but the climb back up can be a bit exhausting. However, the effort is worth it as the water at the bottom is the clearest and most turquoise you'll ever see. Additionally, there are plenty of interesting fish to observe, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling.
