The shoreline is petite and adorned with pebbles, as is customary for most beaches in Ithaca. It is an ideal spot for young ones to frolic and play. Sunbeds are available for rent at a reasonable price of 10€, but there is no bar in the vicinity. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit, the water was not as pristine as we had hoped. However, the path leading to the beach is undoubtedly the highlight of the experience. It takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the shore from Vathy's square, but the journey is breathtakingly scenic.

Easily accessible from Vathy and with convenient roadside parking, this beach may not offer any bars or tavernas, but it does have around 8 pairs of sunbeds on a combination of gritty sand and pebbles. The water is gently shelving, albeit slightly cloudy, and there are a couple of buoys marking the swimming area. While there are plenty of boats coming and going from Vathy harbour, they keep a safe distance from the buoys. If you're looking for a quick dip, boat watching, or something close to Vathy, this beach is a decent choice. However, if you're after crystal-clear waters or more amenities, there are better options available.

The beach offers of crystal-clear and immaculate waters, perfect for a refreshing swim. For a mere 6€, you can avail of an umbrella and two chairs to relax in. The beach is not overly crowded, providing a serene and tranquil environment. Additionally, it offers an excellent opportunity to observe boats as they enter the Vathi port.
