When approaching the beach from the road, it's important to note that there is a lack of shade and the path can be quite steep, with a fair amount of large flying insects buzzing about. However, once you arrive at the sandy shores, you'll find a charming and quaint spot to relax and soak up the sun. Just be sure to bring along some sunscreen and a hat to protect yourself from the rays.

I was extremely disappointed with the state of the beach. It's such a shame that there was so much rubbish scattered around. I can't believe that the Ithaca Council hasn't taken action to remove the pipes and other garbage from the beach. After walking for an hour under the hot sun to get here, it was disheartening to see the mess. The only way to access the beach is either by boat or by taking the Arethousa Krini trail. Unfortunately, there are no natural sources of shade, so make sure to bring an umbrella with you. It's a shame that such a beautiful location has been tarnished by litter.

The beach offers a favorable anchorage with minimal exposure to gusts of wind, however, the unsightly pipes detract from the otherwise heavenly scenery. It's a delightful spot to take a break for a refreshing dip and a scrumptious lunch. During our journey from this location to Vathi, we were fortunate enough to capture three delectable small tunas that we transformed into a mouth-watering ceviche.

The journey to the beach may be challenging due to the steep path, but the stunning views along the way make it a worthwhile adventure. It is recommended to wear sturdy sandals or trainers for safety. The scenery is simply breathtaking, and it's hard not to be captivated by the natural beauty that surrounds you. Although there may be some debris on the beach caused by the recent cyclone, it will be cleared soon, and the beach will be restored to its pristine condition.
