The beach has a rocky foreshore, but there is still about 5-10 meters of sand before the water. It's a nesting ground for turtles, so most of it is cordoned off for their eggs. Fortunately, there are no beach bars, but it would be better if they got rid of the sun loungers too. This is not a party beach, but rather a nature reserve. There are a couple of restaurants just up the road from the beach, and the geology in the area is fascinating. If they removed the sun beds, it would be great. They can leave those for the party beaches, of which there are plenty within a few kilometers.

The beach is absolutely stunning, with bright sand that is incredibly fine and water that is crystal clear.

While it may not have the same stunning views as some of the other beaches on the island, this one is definitely the top choice for those looking to unwind and chill out. There are plenty of areas to set up your own shade or rent an umbrella if needed. The beautiful fine sand and crystal clear water make it an ideal spot for swimming and playing around.

This is hands down the best beach in Zakinthos. Despite being busy, it never feels overwhelming because it's so spacious and there's always room to stretch out. The sand is pristine and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. I can't speak to the cost of renting umbrellas and sunbeds though, as we always opted for the free section of the beach.

2 Very poor

The beach seems to have a policy of accommodating only 5-6 individuals per umbrella, but the sheer number of people present makes it feel like a chaotic and cramped space. The exorbitant price of 30 euro for an umbrella and two chairs only adds to the frustration. Unfortunately, there are no beach bars, restaurants or restrooms to provide any respite from the crowd. Instead, one can only find signs with information and perhaps the occasional egg buried in the sand. It was a disappointment to discover that the Turtle Center was closed, as we were hoping to catch a glimpse of the majestic creatures. All in all, it was a rather disheartening experience.
