The beach doesn't offer much room to roam, with sizable rocks scattered about underfoot. There's also an unpleasant amount of animal waste and even a deceased rat in the vicinity. To add to the disappointment, the area has been plagued by littering. However, the stunning scenery is a redeeming quality. The waves are a bit more choppy here due to the ferry traffic, and I even experienced a small bite on my foot and accidentally stepped on a sea urchin. For a more enjoyable beach experience, I recommend checking out the nearby Antisamos beach, which is truly incredible.

During our exploration of Kefalonia, we stumbled upon a captivating beach that offered a breathtaking view of Ithaka. Although the beach was oriented towards the north-north-west, the mountains on the west obstructed the sunset, making it an ideal spot for an evening visit. Oh boy, let me tell you about this beach. The view of Ithaca island is simply gorgeous. And if you're into snorkeling, this is the spot for you. But hold up, parents with little ones, beware! The water is deep and not exactly kid-friendly. Plus, there are sea urchins lurking about, so don't forget your trusty swimming shoes. Overall, a beach with a view and some adventure, but maybe not the best pick for a family outing.
