Agia Kiriaki beach

This beach is nothing but a desolate stretch of sand with turquoise water that looks more like a mirage than a reality. It's almost as if the beach has been abandoned by humanity, with only a couple of individuals brave enough to venture to such a forsaken place. The only decent spot to soak up the nonexistent sun is on the far side of the screens, but even then, there's not much to see or do. The road leading to this godforsaken place is somewhat decent, but the last segment is nothing more than a bumpy dirt road that will leave you questioning your sanity for even attempting to visit this barren wasteland.

The shore of this beach is covered in pebbles and faces the North, resulting in slightly rougher waters. Despite this, the water remains warm and is perfect for a refreshing swim. The beach is easily accessible and boasts some of the most breathtaking roads we've encountered on our journey from Argostoli. Although we visited in August, the beach was not overcrowded, and there were plenty of sun loungers available by midday. For just €7, we were able to rent a pair of beds with an umbrella. Although the tavern did not offer as much variety as some other beaches, the prices were reasonable and the food was satisfactory.

This beach has a spacious and expansive area, perfect for those who enjoy the thrill of the waves while still allowing for a comfortable swimming experience. However, it may not be ideal for younger swimmers due to the waves. The entry to the water is better suited for adults and there are some small rocks present. While it is possible to catch a glimpse of the sea bed on calmer days, the water is generally cloudy and not suitable for snorkeling. During the peak season in August, sunbeds are available for either 10 or 7 EUR, and the nearby taverna serves up delicious food and refreshments at reasonable prices. Parking is ample, but the entry road may be a bit off-road depending on which side of the beach you approach from, with the longer route being the safer option.

This serene beach is perfect for those seeking a tranquil escape. Although the water temperature was a bit too warm for our taste, it's still a great spot to unwind and indulge in a good book. Additionally, there's a lovely restaurant on the beach that's worth checking out.

The sun umbrellas are thoughtfully spaced apart, ensuring privacy and comfort. The beach-goers are friendly and laid-back, adding to the tranquil vibe. There is even a lovely tavern with a restroom for your convenience. The road leading to the beach is a bit bumpy, but nothing too concerning - it's only a short 1 km stretch. We were surprised to find that some reviews had exaggerated the condition of the road. It's a shame that some people seem to find fault with everything. However, if you're looking for a serene and pristine beach (especially in June), this is the perfect spot. The beach is immaculate and the sun beds are reasonably priced at 7 euros for two. So, sit back and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of this exquisite beach.
