In my opinion, this is the best beach in Corfu. It's wide and sandy, with very fine and soft sand and no stones at all. The water gradually gets deeper and even 60 meters from the shore, it's still only up to your waist. We swam here almost every day for two weeks since we stayed at Maria's Paradise, which was only 100 meters away. The beach is perfect for families with children and there were never any waves during our stay. It's 20 meters wide and 500 meters long, with free sunbeds and umbrellas if you order something from the bar. The drinks and food are inexpensive and of high quality, and they're brought to you on a quad bike from a nearby bar. If you want to save money, there's a large free section of the beach. The only downside is that there are no restrooms, so you have to go to the bar 200 meters away. The water is warm and inviting, but there aren't any living creatures to see while snorkeling. The bay itself is stunning, with cliffs on both sides and two beaches - this one and Astrakeri beach, which is two kilometers long and 50 meters wide but is more wild and doesn't have any infrastructure, except for two taverns on the cliff.
