Kassiopi boasts a truly stunning bay that outshines nearby Kalamionas Beach in terms of beauty. Accessing the bay requires navigating some rocky steps, but the breathtaking view over the bay makes it worth the effort. The bay is usually quiet, with only a couple of other visitors at most. The cove at the beginning of the bay is small and sandy with a few sun loungers, while the rest of the bay extends further down with several stunning rock formations. Despite not having a large variety of fish, the natural beauty of the water, rocks, and view over to Imerolia is simply outstanding. However, be careful of the dangerous rock formations further down the bay, as they can be difficult to navigate and cause injury.
In addition to Engagement Bay, there is a small area further down towards Kalamionas with a private boat bay and a small sandy beach that is just as stunning. These two bays are usually very quiet and private, but finding a spot to lay a towel down can be challenging due to the rock formations. The clear water is ideal for snorkeling, and the rocks make for a beautiful and photogenic scene. There is also plenty of wildlife to see, including a small variety of fish in the waters and crabs on shore. However, be cautious of slippery rocks and sea urchins.
