Blue lagoon is a magnificent snorkeling spot that offers an unforgettable experience. The entrance fee is 15k, with 5k for entry and 10k for parking, which is relatively affordable. This beach is a haven of sunshine even when the rest of the island is drenched in rain. Although we also visited Virgin beach, we found Blue lagoon to be much more preferable.

The beach is a tranquil and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, with just the right amount of visitors to avoid feeling crowded. For those who are able to navigate their own transportation, snorkeling is a free activity that can be enjoyed in the crystal-clear waters. A nominal entrance fee grants access to the beach, which can be reached via a short descent down a set of steps. A cozy warung on the premises offers tasty snacks and beverages, perfect for a quick bite. Additionally, beachgoers can rent umbrellas, sun loungers, and snorkeling equipment from the same location.

I had the pleasure of visiting a stunning beach with a group of friends for a snorkeling adventure. Tanjung Jepun, located a short distance from Blue Lagoon, is an ideal spot for novice snorkelers. The water is serene and the coral reef is only a few meters deep, providing an up-close view of a variety of fish species. The name Blue Lagoon is fitting for this beach, as the water is a breathtaking shade of sapphire. Although the waves were slightly choppy during our visit, it did not detract from the beauty of the beach. If you're a fan of snorkeling, this beach is a must-visit destination.

We had an incredible time snorkeling at the beach, where we were treated to a stunning display of vibrant coral reefs and an array of colorful fish. To top it off, we were lucky enough to spot a graceful turtle swimming gracefully among the marine life. The snorkeling company was flexible with their pricing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. For just $80 CAD, my companion and I were able to charter a private boat and visit two different snorkeling spots, where we had the freedom to explore for over an hour at each location.

Nestled in the eastern part of Bali lies my all-time favorite beach, a true hidden gem boasting of crystal-clear turquoise waters and awe-inspiring vistas. What's more, you'll only have to pay a meager 2000 for motorbike or car parking, and the rest is pure bliss. You can choose to rent a cozy lounge chair for 50k or simply sit at the local warung and relish the scrumptious meals on offer. During the dry season, the waves are gentle, making it the perfect spot to swim by the shore or snorkel in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by an abundance of vibrant marine life. You can rent snorkeling equipment at the warung for just 50k. And since it's located in a remote area, you'll have the privilege of enjoying the serene surroundings with only a handful of visitors. Trust me, this is one of Bali's natural wonders that you simply can't afford to miss.
