This hidden gem of a beach is a refreshing escape from the bustling crowds found at more popular tourist destinations. A friendly local vendor offers freshly harvested coconuts to quench your thirst as you bask in the sun. To reach this secluded paradise, you must navigate a rocky road on your scooter for approximately 10 minutes, taking care to drive slowly. Once you arrive, you'll find a set of steps leading you down to the pristine shoreline.

What a splendid shoreline! Although it may require some effort to reach, the experience is definitely worth it. You'll need to drive to the bend in the road and then take a leisurely stroll along the path, which should take around 15 minutes. As you descend down the slope, you may come across a disappointing sight of discarded plastic bottles, but don't let that deter you. The water is an exquisite shade of crystal blue, but do exercise caution when swimming as the current can be quite strong.

A scenic path awaits those who are willing to take on a challenging but doable hike down to the beach. The journey involves a bike ride on a bumpy road for roughly 10 minutes, followed by a 6-minute trek down a rugged trail. Sturdy footwear is a must for this adventure, but the payoff is well worth the effort. While swimming may not always be an option due to the occasionally rough waves, the stunning views of this beach are truly breathtaking.

We were absolutely awestruck by the sheer beauty of this beach on the island. It's definitely worth the trek down there, especially since a friendly local appeared out of nowhere to guide us. Just remember to wear sturdy footwear and exercise caution, but don't fret about getting lost. Once you arrive, you'll be rewarded with your own secluded slice of paradise.

I am thrilled to have visited this beach on Christmas day, which was my second stop of the day. Although the hike was quite challenging and probably the most difficult one I have experienced in Penida, I am grateful that I did it. It was the day after a cyclone, so the hills in the area were not modified for tourists. However, I managed to complete the 30-45 minute hike barefoot. When I arrived at the beach, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a secluded spot with no other people around. The view was breathtaking, and the water was too rough for deep swimming. Nevertheless, it was a perfect place to relax and float in the knee-deep water. Overall, I highly recommend this beach to anyone looking for a peaceful and natural escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
