A truly stunning beach worth visiting. I took the Ferry from Circular Quay, which, in my opinion, enhances the experience. There's nothing like a ferry ride on Sydney Harbour. The walk from the wharf to the beach is delightful, with several spots to grab an ice cream or gelato, and a fantastic variety of places for a nice lunch. You can also opt for takeout and enjoy it at one of the many tables along the beach. The toilet facilities are excellent as well. It's a perfect place to sit and people-watch. Definitely a must-visit spot in Sydney.

A serene and picturesque beach that's conveniently accessible by ferry. One section of the beach forms a bay and is enclosed, making it safe for swimming. I visited on a weekday, so it wasn't very crowded. The ferry ride was fantastic, offering great photo opportunities of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. You can get there via Manly Fast Ferry, Sydney Ferry Services, or Captain Cook Ferry.

A serene and picturesque beach that is easily accessible by ferry. Although I didn't swim, I observed many people enjoying the water in the bay area. The ferry ride itself was fantastic, offering plenty of clear views of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, making for great photo opportunities. You can get there via the Manly Fast Ferry or the Sydney Ferry. We also walked over to Shelly Beach, where there are plenty of hiking trails with amazing photo opportunities. After an initial stretch of easy to moderate rough terrain, most of the trails are flat with a few steps and are very well maintained. The trails are lined with beautiful plants, birds, and flora. I wish I had more time to fully enjoy the trails.

Traveling to Manly by ferry is a delightful experience, and Manly's beaches have a unique charm in early autumn. Near the swimming pool at the northern end of the beach, you can climb a small cliff. At the top, there's a small cave that serves as a minor attraction. While it may not be particularly magical, it's still worth a visit.

In my opinion, this is the most stunning beach in the Sydney area. The wide promenade lined with iconic pines, along with the beach featuring a surf school and numerous beach volleyball courts, make it ideal for both sports and relaxation. The wooden pavilions are a testament to Manly Beach's history as a hotspot for high society in the 1900s. Compared to Bondi Beach, Manly Beach is my absolute favorite.
