Challenging to reach due to narrow and steep steps, but definitely worth the effort. The walk from the car park isn't long, and those who are reasonably fit should manage without much difficulty. The beach itself is small, but when we visited, there were only a few groups around. It was peaceful, with a sandy shore and calm waters perfect for swimming.

Day pass tickets were accessible via a QR code displayed on the parking ticket machines. There's an incredible lookout near the parking area and a 20-minute bush track that leads to a secluded beach. A must-visit!

A truly serene and peaceful beach. The water is incredibly clear and calm. It's one of the finest I've visited in Australia.

Charming little beach hidden away on the Eastern side of Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park. Be ready for a 15-20 minute hike, as there are plenty of steps leading down to the beach from the West Head Lookout. This spot is a secluded, narrow beach with a few rock formations right in front. Since there isn't much space or shade, make sure to bring a sunshade or umbrella for a comfortable, relaxing time. The waves here seem bigger and stronger compared to nearby Resolute Beach, though I'm not sure if that's always the case. This location might be ideal for couples seeking some private time to unwind, but it's not really suitable for families with kids.

We began our journey at West Head Lookout and followed the Resolute Track. The descent is quite steep, but the effort is definitely worthwhile. From there, you get a clear view of Station Beach and Barrenjoey Lighthouse. It's also a great spot for a picnic!
