Donabate Strand is located on the
Irish Sea and it is in the
20th place out of 56 beaches in the
Leinster region
17.2 km away from its center, the city of
Dublin. It is one of the beaches of
Portraine settlement, just
1.7 km from its center.
The beach is
located in an urban area.
This beach is beautiful and conveniently located near the carpark. There is a hotel nearby for food, as well as bins and toilets for convenience. The sandy beach remains accessible even during high tide, offering lovely views of Lambay Island. It is definitely one of my favorite beaches in Dublin.

Exceptional
The beach near Donabate town is lovely and easily accessible by foot. It's a popular spot in the summer. Street parking is limited, but you can park at the nearby hotel. There's a coffee shop outside the hotel, and food is available inside.

Very good
The beach is stunning, with a convenient car park nearby. There is a hotel by the entrance that offers food. The beach is easily accessible thanks to new roads. However, it loses a star due to the extremely dirty public toilets.
