I always come here when I need to reflect on the meaning of life. This beach is stunning, and when the sun is out, the ocean takes on beautiful green Caribbean hues. It's definitely worth the trip, and there's a small cliff walk that offers breathtaking views. Just keep in mind that the car park tends to be full on weekends because there are limited spaces available.

The Glen Cliff Walk is a delightful experience offering breathtaking views along a 4-kilometer path that hugs the Wicklow coastline. Starting from the Glen beach just outside Wicklow town, the walk leads you to Lime Kiln Bay, where you can spot grey seals, and continues on towards the Lighthouse.

The beach is covered in large pebbles, but the water is easily accessible. The waves are gentle, making it a pleasant spot. It's not very crowded, so you can enjoy some privacy; we only saw two other people during our visit. The beach and water are clean, though there was quite a bit of kelp and other natural debris in the water. There are no facilities except for parking (Glen Beach Cliff Walk parking) and a picnic area near the parking lot.

A tranquil, hidden pebble beach featuring crystal clear waters. There's a good chance you'll encounter seals during your swim. The car park is somewhat limited in size, but parking is free. Definitely take a walk along the Cliff Walk to visit the Lighthouses—it's well worth it.

A hidden gem. The walk to the lighthouse is about 3 kilometers along the coast and offers spectacular views, with plenty of seals swimming around. We brought our kids, and they managed the walk just fine. The beach is quite stony, but it's a great spot for a swim, so make sure to bring swimming shoes.
