4 Frustrating

I rarely leave bad reviews but I thought this place was pretty horrible. Bags of rubbish at the entrance and a sign warning of raw sewage in the river. I can’t say whether this was true or not but who wants to put it to the test?! The river splits the beach in two and was impassable on the day we visited leaving only a very small walk to have with the dog. It was quiet and there was free parking for a small number of cars nearby but I can’t think of any real reason to go back or encourage others to visit. There are no facilities at all - not anywhere to get a drink, no toilet, not even a litter bin.

Not very exited about that beach. Very simple without something special views.

10 Exceptional

Very nice beach with plenty of space. Great views and really nice walks to be had. Camping area very close by. Unfortunately there are no toilets but don’t let this put you off. Parking can be difficult when it gets busy,

Quiet beach with free parking, shaped in circular bay that affords great views of fields in the distance. The amount of plastics evident on the beach is disappointing!
