Stunning beach with ample parking space. The restroom facilities were an added perk.

An absolutely amazing beach. It's vast and expansive, yet remains quiet and secluded. With ample parking and easy access, it's a fantastic destination to visit year-round.

Dreamy Dooey. Visited on All Saints Day with my Mum and children. This fabulous, remote, and spacious beach boasts a clean, green flag and is located in the Gaeltacht. It's signposted as Trá ór Slí na Dumhaigh from Lettermacaward. Look for a small car park as you head towards the sea from the narrow backroad. This is our second visit, and it was great to see no rubbish or dumping this time. There are no bins available. There is a portaloo option, though we didn't use it. The beach features lovely sand dunes, a walkway, and a steep sandy drop to the shore. It is not wheelchair accessible. The children had a great time building sandcastles. The beach is popular with dog walkers and seems to be a hidden gem cherished by locals.

A stunningly long stretch of beach with pleasant surf. The gentle slope makes it safe for children. Parking is very limited, and there are portaloos available.

Stunning, endless beach with crystal-clear water. This is a "leave no trace" beach, so there are no bins; please take your rubbish and dog mess home. Beyond the entrance, the beach is almost deserted. The sand dunes are immense. We visited on a 20° Saturday, and it still felt empty! Just a 50-minute drive from Letterkenny.
