Volo beach

This campsite is one of the top choices in this area. Although the beach may not be the absolute best, the water is stunning. Additionally, there is a lovely restaurant located on the campsite, offering good service and excellent facilities.

The beach had some great features, such as the amazing opportunity to walk and swim in the sea. Additionally, it was conveniently located close to a 24-hour shop and the entire area was exceptionally clean. The pool area provided a fun experience with TikTok-style dancing, and the toilets, showers, and overall facilities were maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. However, there were a few reasons why I couldn't give it a perfect rating. The music played around the pool was not suitable for families, with explicit lyrics and inappropriate language. This led to an interesting conversation with my 11-year-old about its meaning. Furthermore, there were too many unsupervised children in the pool, resulting in poor behavior. At one point, it became necessary to complain to the lifeguards as the children were engaging in dangerous activities, including repeatedly hitting each other on the head and holding one boy's head underwater. Considering the price of 74 euros for one night in a camper van with electricity for two adults and one child, it was quite expensive. Due to these factors, we have decided not to return in the future, although our overall experience was satisfactory.

The pitches were fantastic, but unfortunately, the pool was unclean and the beach was not pleasant. It's not suitable for children.

We are currently staying in a stunning spot with our motorhome, enjoying a picturesque view of the sea from our lovely pitch. The amenities here are great, including a delightful pool and a private bathroom facility. However, the overall experience is being spoiled by unnecessary Ibiza-style dance music with heavy bass, which plays from 9:30 am until the evening entertainment starts, with only a break between 1 pm and 3 pm when the pool closes. I can understand the need for some music during the aqua dance at 11 am and later for the evening entertainment, but having it play all day with only a two-hour break is quite excessive. It's such a shame that this beautiful spot is being ruined by this.

The campsite is fantastic. It's not overly large, and the atmosphere is very laid-back. I've never had any trouble finding a spot by the pool or on the beach. It's just a quick 10-minute bike ride into San Remo, where there are plenty of shops and dining options. The reception and staff are always friendly and ready to assist.
