view the best beach places
Charming small restaurant offering delectable food and a pleasant view. The dishes were fresh and homemade; I particularly enjoyed the flavorful lemon pasta with seafood. Visited for lunch in June 2016 after driving from Nice to San Remo. The parking situation was unusual, featuring an old outdoor elevator from the lot to the hotel/apartment level, followed by another somewhat rickety building elevator down to the beach/restaurant level. Quite an interesting and unique experience!
This beach is absolutely stunning with a combination of pebbles and sand. To avoid paying for parking (which costs a steep 5 euros per hour!), simply input beach orengo into your navigation system. Don't worry about driving down the narrow street with a low wall, as long as you don't have a massive SUV, and you'll discover a dirt clearing with trees where you can park comfortably. Head towards the sea and follow the wall to your right, and within a few minutes, you'll reach the beach. It's not crowded at all and even offers a complimentary shower. Plus, there's the Villa Eva bathing establishment nearby where you can grab a bite to eat or have a drink. It's simply fantastic!
This beach is truly one of the best I've ever been to. The coastline is rugged and charming, and the sea is absolutely beautiful. There's a lovely rustic cabin where you can grab some snacks and drinks. It feels like you're on a beach straight out of a 1960s surf film, but it's still gentle enough for families to enjoy. I would advise against using the crazy lift, though. What's the deal with that thing?
