Once more, we found ourselves at a picturesque beach that requires a bit of effort to reach - a solid 30 minutes to an hour of trekking. However, the reward is well worth the journey, as long as you come prepared with appropriate footwear.

As acknowledged by previous reviewers, the path leading to the shore was arduous and only suited for seasoned trekkers... however, the beach that greeted you at the end of the journey was nothing but underwhelming. The sand was coarse and gritty, the water murky and uninviting. The only thing that could be deemed remotely attractive was the view of the horizon, but even that was marred by the constant stream of tourists and their litter. All in all, the beach was a disappointment and not worth the effort it took to reach it.

4 Frustrating

The beach is absolutely stunning, however, the journey to reach it can be quite treacherous. It involves a 40-minute walk through a path that leads to a dangerous landslide. The stones are unstable and the descent is extremely steep, making it unsuitable for children and the elderly. It is highly recommended to wear appropriate footwear such as mountain or gymnastic boots, and even a helmet to protect against possible falling rocks.

What an extraordinary adventure! The initial part of the trail is quite effortless, but towards the end, there are a few sections that require the use of ropes. It is advisable to wear sturdy footwear, although we did spot some individuals descending in sandals. The water is pristine, and the beach is immaculate, with warm, dark stones that are perfect for summer. Water shoes are a must-have. There are shaded areas for those who prefer to avoid direct sunlight. We embarked on the journey with four children, the youngest being nine years old, and it was a breeze! Do not be discouraged by negative reviews, but refrain from taking toddlers or younger children. The route is well-marked, as indicated in the reviews, and it is almost impossible to get lost. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Plan for an hour-long return journey with a few breaks.

This beach is a true gem - stunningly beautiful, secluded and blissfully uncrowded. The initial part of the path leading to it is a breeze, but as you approach the end, the terrain becomes steeper and more challenging to navigate. Highly recommended! To find your way there, simply head to the restaurant parking lot and walk back down the street past the private or closed street on the left. Look out for the guardrail and the sign pointing towards the path. At the first fork, take a left, and at the second fork with the two large signs on the right, keep right. Follow the arrows and markings until you reach the end of the path, where you'll need to use the ropes to climb down. From here, you can choose to head left or right and start exploring this breathtaking beach.
