The sandy beach that lies by the roadside before reaching Sampieri from Cava D'Aliga may appear beautiful, but it is not without its drawbacks. True, the water is clean and the crowds are scarce, but the free beach section near the cliff is a haunt for topless sunbathers and those who prefer to tan in the nude, making it an uncomfortable spot for those who prefer a more modest atmosphere. Furthermore, the beach's location, sheltered from the westerly winds, can make it feel stiflingly hot and stuffy. If you're in search of a peaceful spot to relax, this beach may not be the best choice.

The beach is truly magnificent, though it lacks parking facilities. Our blunder of parking in the nearby campsite car park got us in trouble as we were asked to move. However, we noticed that people park their cars on the road and then quickly hop over the barrier to reach the beach, which is only 30 meters away. The sand is so soft that it feels like walking on clouds, and the water is so shallow that even kids can enjoy it. You can also indulge in some fantastic snorkeling along the nearby cliffs.

The shoreline stretches out far and wide, with soft, powdery sand that's perfect for lounging or taking a dip in the refreshing waters. Even on a bustling Sunday afternoon in July, the beach remains relatively unoccupied, providing a peaceful escape from the chaos of everyday life. However, the location of the beach leaves something to be desired - there's no designated parking area, only a small clearing that can accommodate a mere four cars. If the lot is full, visitors are left with no choice but to park alongside the busy main road, with cars whizzing by at breakneck speed. Furthermore, there is no official entrance to the beach, forcing guests to park their vehicles on the side of the road and navigate through a guard rail to access the shoreline. To make matters worse, there are no restroom or shower facilities available on site.
