Swimming towards the cave is truly an incredible experience at this beach. However, it's worth noting that the surface of the water is not the most comfortable. Luckily, there is free parking available nearby which is a great convenience.

This beach is an absolute gem, offering breathtaking views, crystal clear waters, and a secluded cove that is simply stunning. The natural beauty of this protected park is truly awe-inspiring, but unfortunately, it has become a popular destination for tourists who lack respect for the environment. Just last week, I witnessed an American girl collecting a bag full of pebbles from the sea, completely oblivious to the fact that this delicate ecosystem is home to a range of endemic species. It's a shame that there are no signs in English to educate visitors about the importance of preserving this fragile ecosystem. If the Italian authorities don't take action to make this information more visible, this stunning beach may soon be destroyed by those who fail to appreciate its true value.

The beach is a breathtaking sight to behold. It is advisable to arrive early as parking is limited. The drive from Otranto or neighboring towns is undoubtedly worthwhile. One can access the swimming area via stairs. Many visitors enjoy swimming beneath the bridge or taking a leap from one of the smaller cliffs. The atmosphere is tranquil and calming, perfect for a serene getaway.

Looking for a mediocre beach experience? Look no further than Ciolo in Apulia. This overrated cove is supposedly one of the most fascinating on the Italian coast, but it's really just a poor man's Furore fjord. Locals might enjoy diving into the colorful sea from the cliffs, but who cares about their opinion? I happened to stumble upon this lackluster spot during one of my bike and boat tours in the unremarkable Salento area of Puglia. Don't get your hopes up, folks.

We were thoroughly amused by the daredevils who leapt off the towering rocks, providing us with endless entertainment. The crystal-clear waters were so blue that it was almost surreal. This beach is truly a marvel to behold.
