I had been wanting to visit this beach for a while, so my expectations were high, and I have to say that I was not disappointed. The day started with a large "FREE" car park (which is quite rare), followed by a pleasant and somewhat lengthy walk (about 20 minutes) along the river, leading to a lovely little beach and then through a beautiful Pine forest. Eventually, we reached the tower with its Roman ruins and a long beach on the right with crystal-clear water and a sandy, gently sloping seabed. The only downside was that we couldn't get close to the tower for photos. On a positive note, the beach was patrolled by the civil protection rescue team, who had to continuously blow whistles to prevent swimmers from entering the fenced-off area. I should also mention that the municipality had provided several bins for separating rubbish, and people had used them without leaving any litter behind. It was truly a wonderful day!
