Jamaica Inn Beach

Where do I begin with Jamaica Inn? The staff, the amazing views, the tranquility—this isn't your fast-paced environment. There is no hustle and bustle, no long lines for a buffet, and minimal technology. All you get is high-speed WiFi. You are brought back to a simpler time, surrounded by naturally friendly and helpful people who just want you to relax and enjoy your stay in the most comfortable manner. Let's start with the food. It was exceptional. As a Jamaican, I can appreciate the way they made my favorite dishes and introduced me to a few others. Certain things change every day, so there isn't too much repetition, and you will be very satisfied with the taste and quality of everything. I know my family and I were. The rooms were rustic and void of anything to distract you from rest. Ventilation was good, with wooden shutter windows that could be closed for privacy. The balcony was also a great place to just relax and have some coffee or tea, which was complimentary. You could also have room service meals and drinks brought to you so you can truly escape in the privacy of your very comfortable room. And did I mention they provide umbrellas, robes, slippers, all towels, toiletries, and even cotton swabs to dry/clean your ears? I have to mention the staff, whom I bothered all the time, but they were always more than happy to help and accommodate my every wish. Special mention goes to Garfield the waiter and Richard Hutchinson, who went out of their way to make sure all the meals for my family and myself were perfect. Hutchinson even assisted us on the grounds to pick a few Jamaican apples and gave small insightful information on the plants and hydroponic gardening system by the gift shop, as we missed the tour for it. Also, special mention to Patrice, who remembered our drinks and wine preferences, and Makayla, Shana Lee, and Chevanese—the breakfast club for us. We miss you guys already! The beach was great, and the lifeguards were always attentive and on the lookout. I can't swim, so it made me feel a lot safer knowing I didn't have to worry. I definitely can't forget sweet Shadow, the lovely dog who was always a bundle of joy, walking with guests and playing. Her face would light up every time you came to interact with her. I'm not saying this is the perfect hotel for a vacation—it may not suit everyone's taste—but I will say I felt like family,

I can't praise Jamaica Inn enough. This hotel was my sanctuary during a challenging period. With its stunning views, attentive staff, and beautifully furnished rooms, Jamaica Inn truly feels like a home away from home. The hotel is quite a distance from the airport, and traffic can be intense, so I highly recommend arriving on the island early to avoid a stressful journey to the hotel. Despite that, Jamaica Inn exceeded all my expectations. I definitely plan on returning soon!

I visited the Jamaica Inn Ocho Rios in January 2024, following my doctors' recommendation to travel to Jamaica. At the time, I thought I was nearing the end of my life, but I'm still here. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful owners and all the staff for making me feel at home. I will be back...

Outstanding customer service! Even as a local, I received exceptional care. The food was fantastic, and Robert took great care of us! Whenever we're in Ocho Rios, we'll definitely stop by again.

The Jamaica Inn surpassed our expectations. It felt as though we were staying in a friend's home rather than a hotel. The ambiance is like stepping into an elegant time capsule. Everything was flawless. We eagerly anticipate our return.
