Lagon Club Beach

Our family members had been visitors of Lagon for many years until we were totally disappointed by their extremely rude behaviour during our last visit. Although we used to purchase food and beverage from their cafeteria, we were shocked when the waiter on the manager's orders told us in an extremely impolite and uncivil manner to stop eating our snack (man2oushe) just because it wasn't purchased from their cafeteria. I strongly don't recommend to visit this place.

I have been visiting Lagon for four decades now, first as a child and now with my own kids in tow. While my overall rating would be 3.5, I have to give it a generous 5.0 for its impressive ability to maintain its allure over so many years. The beach is a safe and secure environment for children, with a large, pristine pool that is both inviting and refreshing. The kids love playing in the sand and taking advantage of the easy access to the beach. However, the food is still average and overpriced, and the toilets could definitely benefit from better maintenance and cleaning. Despite these minor flaws, the entrance price is fair and well worth the experience of spending a day at this charming beach.

Prepare to unwind and exercise patience when visiting this beach. The lunch menu may leave something to be desired as it is quite restricted and distinct (this information is not disclosed until after ordering). Unfortunately, substitutions or alterations to accommodate allergies are not allowed as per the chef's policy. The beef options are subpar, but the chicken dishes are satisfactory. The dinner menu receives a rating of 4 out of 5, while the lunch menu only receives a 1 out of 5.

I have been visiting this beach for more than 20 years, but unfortunately, I have decided to never return. The reason for my dissatisfaction is the way the resort's management handled my complaint about children killing and torturing crabs on the beach. The lack of professionalism and disrespect shown towards me was appalling. The attitude of the Lebanese owners, who believe they have complete control over the beach, was disheartening. Therefore, I cannot recommend this beach to anyone.

This so-called old landmark is nothing more than a mediocre beach with a lagoon that is only marginally pleasant. The entrance fees may be affordable, but don't expect anything special in return. The restaurant is passable at best, serving up a selection of sandwiches and dishes that are hardly worth writing home about. The only redeeming quality is the location, which is situated right next to the water. But don't get too excited – you won't be able to fully enjoy the view due to the hordes of tourists that flock here. The staff is friendly enough, but that's hardly enough to make up for the lackluster facilities. And while there is a space to change clothes, it's hardly worth mentioning. All in all, this beach is nothing to write home about.
