Sun Siyam Olhuveli Beach

If you're looking for the perfect honeymoon destination, Sun Syam Olhuveli is an absolute paradise. The resort consists of three islands, two of which are family-friendly, so you can expect to see many children. The third island is an adults-only resort and is not included in the all-inclusive dine around package. However, you still have the option to choose from three award-winning a la carte restaurants, which usually require a booking a day in advance. But since it was low season in September, we didn't have to make any reservations at all. The resort offers a wide range of accommodations, including beach villas and overwater villas with infinity pools. The rooms are well-maintained and beautifully designed. The food and service are absolutely exceptional! Every single staff member treated us like royalty and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We had the pleasure of being personally greeted by the chef at the beach BBQ and chatting with him about his experience working with Gordon Ramsay under the stars at Maghreb. At the Namaste restaurant, the staff explained local dishes to us. This resort is truly world-class and deserves all the recognition it receives. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff and management for making our honeymoon an absolute paradise. The beaches and water are stunning, as expected. There are various water sports activities to choose from, such as stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and windsurfing. Snorkeling at the house reef is incredible, and you can observe a wide variety of marine life. For those interested, scuba diving is also available. We would not hesitate to plan another trip here.

When it comes to the Maldives, it's impossible to rate it anything less than five stars, especially when you stay in an overwater bungalow. The breathtaking views and charming rooms exceeded our expectations. The beaches are meticulously maintained, the water is stunningly beautiful, and there are plenty of opportunities to spot sharks, stingrays, and crabs!

We went on a day tour at the resort and paid the entrance fee for the all-inclusive package. However, it seems that the Manager of the hotel needs to understand what all-inclusive actually means. Out of the 9 hours we spent at the resort, we only received drinks during the 2-hour lunchtime. So essentially, we paid $90 per person for a mediocre lunch and two glasses of water. This is their idea of an all-inclusive package. We have visited other resorts before, and the staff here seems indifferent, except for a few individuals who were very kind. It's disappointing to have an all-inclusive package and still be thirsty throughout the entire day.

I had an unforgettable stay at the beach. The view, food, and services were all incredible. Everything from check-in to check-out was amazing. I would like to give a special thanks to Manager Chamil and Mohammad (I hope I pronounced it correctly) for taking care of us throughout our stay and serving us delicious dishes.

Sun Siyam Olhuveli is an incredible destination. The temperature of the ocean water remains delightful, regardless of the weather, which was mostly sunny. The deluxe water villa is a perfect choice for couples. The resort ensures safety and offers a wide range of activities. The buffet food is enjoyable and constantly changes to provide variety for guests. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The true highlight of this resort is the marine life. The house reef and the surrounding waters are teeming with abundant fish, sharks, sting rays, and occasionally manta rays and sea turtles. These can be observed both from above and beneath the water's surface, whether you are snorkeling or scuba diving. The only drawback is that the resort charges in dollars for everything, and any additional services or activities not included in your package (such as watersports, diving excursions, and spa treatments) can be quite expensive.
