10 Exceptional

During our four-night stay on Gaffaru Island, we discovered a hidden gem in the Maldives that is perfect for those seeking a comfortable and affordable getaway without sacrificing quality. This small island boasts all the necessary facilities for a pleasant stay, including a pristine beach that is both clean and breathtakingly beautiful. Our stay at the Gaffaru View Inn Hotel was nothing short of amazing, and we highly recommend this must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the wonders of a public island in the Maldives.

2 Very poor

The beach is extremely unclean and not recommended for a visit. Instead, head up north to the tourist beach which is a better option.

If you're not seeking a luxurious stay, this is the ideal location to stay in Maldives. Although, if you're looking for a beach where you can wear bikinis, this may not be the best option. However, it's a great spot for couples.

6 Pleasant

The beach designated for bikinis is pristine, with white, silky sand and various charming photo props that are perfect for Instagram-worthy shots. The area is equipped with sunbeds and a few straw huts for shade. The ocean has a stunning turquoise hue, but unfortunately, there isn't much to explore in terms of marine life - I barely spotted any fish or coral.
