Kotor beach

The beach offers a rocky terrain that offers stunning vistas to behold. The waters are teeming with an abundance of fish, making it a prime spot for fishing enthusiasts. Even in the month of November, the temperature of the water remains pleasantly warm, inviting visitors to take a dip and soak in the tranquil surroundings.

Upon our arrival in Kotor, we were met with the sight of two colossal cruise ships - an MSC liner and a TUI liner. The old town of Kotor is quaintly small, easily traversable within a leisurely 15-minute walk. However, the town's narrow streets cannot accommodate a large influx of people, especially when they are all heading in different directions. As someone who lives and works in the bustling city of London, I am accustomed to the crowds, but it can be overwhelming when everyone is going their separate ways. To escape the hustle and bustle, I took a break from the fast-paced lifestyle and explored the new Kotor, the river, and the park. I enjoyed a peaceful stroll through the serene surroundings. If you're planning a visit, it's best to avoid the crowds of the cruise ships and instead opt for a meal in new Kotor or purchase food to enjoy in the beautiful park. Not only is it more affordable, but it's also a much more relaxed experience.

The beach offers a charming pebbled terrain that offers breathtaking vistas of the bay. We availed of two comfortable sunbeds and a parasol for a reasonable price of €10, and arrived at around 3pm. The convenience of purchasing reasonably-priced refreshments such as drinks, beer, and ice cream was also available. Despite its popularity, the beach maintains a serene and tranquil ambiance that allows for a peaceful and restful time. The water is pristine and crystal-clear, inviting visitors to take a refreshing dip and indulge in a delightful swim.

Although the beach can become quite crowded and the rocky terrain can be a bit uncomfortable, the pristine waters are a refreshing sight to see. If you want to avoid the crowds, be sure to visit during sunset when the beach empties out, giving you a chance to peacefully take in the stunning surroundings. Additionally, there are rental chairs available and a variety of nearby food options to choose from.

Although the beach was quite rocky, we still managed to have a great time. It would have been even better if the cruise ships didn't spoil the view with their unattractive appearance.
