This hidden beach is a true gem. During our weekend visit in November, we only encountered a handful of locals. Prior to embarking on your journey, there are a few important things to keep in mind. While it is possible to reach the beach by car, the road is quite bumpy and narrow. A sturdy vehicle like a Jeep would be ideal. Additionally, rainy seasons can cause further erosion to the already rough terrain.
If you're looking to explore the surrounding area, the Natural Bridge and Blackstone are both accessible from the beach. However, the Natural Bridge requires a bit of hiking over uneven terrain and some light climbing. Blackstone is just a short drive away.
As for the waves, during our visit, they were medium-sized with a frequency that made for optimal boogie/body surfing. The bay is wide enough to easily avoid the rocks, and the current was relatively calm, with only a small surge during a brief period of our three-hour stay.
Overall, if you're a lover of the ocean, this beach is definitely worth the trek. Its secluded location and beautiful waves make for an unforgettable experience.
