Mangel Halto is a hidden gem for snorkeling enthusiasts seeking a unique experience away from the typical tourist crowds. Unlike other snorkeling spots in Aruba, this spot requires active swimming to stay in position over the vibrant reef structure. The diversity of fish species found here is truly remarkable and makes for an unforgettable underwater adventure. It's important to note that Mangel Halto can be dangerous, so it's essential to research beforehand and exercise caution, especially with motorboats in the area. Despite the potential risks, Mangel Halto is undoubtedly one of the top two snorkeling spots on the island, alongside Boca Catalina.
