Personally, Orewa is the rocking beach of the North. Wide and long, lotsa eateries, fresh fruit ice creams, hunks on bikes, couples and families occupying the side walk restros... It's a sight to see. There are some cool looking motels too. A hep beach, must visit.

Good beach, long enough to run it. The same time places to eat were nearby. Orewa is a place I can go to anytime and will not get sick of it.

Beautiful beach opposite a range of delicious restaurants. The beach gets really busy around the holidays and is popular with surfers. There are multiple entrances to the beach towards the end of every street which is nice when you want a more private picnic. There are kids play areas, exercise equipment and a camping ground towards the start of the beach.

Perfect beach for a dog get together🙌 check the dates, cause in high summer off lead dogs are only allowed at certain times. The water is nice and warm & it’s a pleasant spot to play. Kid and dog friendly, toilets easily accessible and a spot to buy coffee. Big enough to go for a walk in the beach too
