Fantastic beach with good boogie boarding opportunities when the waves are active. I recommend bringing plenty of shade and water because the sun can be intense and shade is limited. There are also nice parks around the beach area.

Stunning rocky beach. Visit during high tide to avoid walking on wet sand. There are plenty of walking tracks available. Although the entry board lists a specific time for the walk, you can complete it much quicker.

Another sun-soaked gem on the Coromandel Peninsula. This beach boasts great sandy shores, making it an awesome spot to relax and soak up the sun. I love coming here for a swim, and it's also popular with surfers. The surrounding hills offer fantastic walking trails and scenic views from above. There are toilets and car parks at both ends of the beach. The harbour entrance provides excellent shelter, and there's a boat ramp as well. It's a great location for swimming, kayaking, and fishing.
